On call telehealth Doctor Alexa..
How many of you want your telehealth visits to be hooked up to your Alexa? How many of you would like to go “hey Alexa, call my doctor because I have a migraine.” Or “hey Alexa, why is my stomach upset?” I understand why some people could get excited about this in a good way, but I don’t think this is a good idea at all.Â
Here’s what they’re trying to do. Alexa will soon be able to connect patients and doctors through Amazon’s service. People can have access to their doctors 24/7, which I think is a good thing. My concern is the quality. Hopefully it’ll be smart enough to say whether you need to go to the emergency room right away or not. But you can’t diagnose someone unless you know what’s going on with them.Â
So what’s the problem?
Now I’m a fan of telehealth. I do it in my practice all the time. Go to our site, askdoctoreric.com, ask a question, and we’ll do our best to answer it. But Alexa connecting with your doctor through Amazon echo.. I knew it would be coming too. I just like simple. And simple to me is a face to face, patient to doctor meeting. They’re saying that Amazon will not have access to records and can’t store the private calls. Only audio is available, no video. They won’t deal with the insurance either.Â
I’m all about customized nutrition, customized health, and customized lifestyles based off your needs. I want to think about your symptoms and link it to the cause. And the cause, most likely, is that your deficient in vitamins. You’re probably not sleeping well, not eating well, or not moving well. All of these things play a role.Â

But we’ve got just the solution for you. Go to my site, freevitamindeal.com, if you haven’t done so already. I’m giving away free vitamin D3 and zinc because everyone needs it so badly. Vitamin D is one of the most deficient nutrients on the planet and you cannot have good cellular health if you are deficient in it.Â

I’m planning future lives and want to make sure to talk about what people want to hear. Ask me a question and I’ll answer them soon!
