How much vitamin D and zinc can kids take?
What’s good for adults is good for children, except it has to be in the children’s specific dosage. Rule of thumb, if you’re 12 and older you get treated like an adult. That’s around 5,000 international units a day of vitamin D3. If you’re 18 and up that’s around 10,000 units a day. For zinc, it’s usually about 20 milligrams a day for 12 – 18.
We created something called Wellness Warrior Kid’s Multivitamin. Good enough for adults, just you’ll have to take 4 a day for adults. It’s 2 a day for kids.Â
What's good for adults is good for kids too.
